Pop My Culture Podcast

Pop My Culture was a weekly-ish podcast hosted by comedic actors and improvisers Cole Stratton and Vanessa Ragland. Join these two entertainment nerds and their special guests as they discuss movies, music, television, celebrity gossip, etc. without all those pesky “serious” topics like politics, religion and the environment. I mean, you can tune into Fresh Air for that. We’ll just tackle the trivial watercooler stuff, ok?

PMC was named the "#2 Best Comedy Podcast of the Moment" by Rolling Stone; one of the "Top 20 Comedy Podcasts of 2013" by Paste Magazine; and has appeared on Top 10 lists by IFC.com and Mashable.com. It is part of the Nerdist Network of shows, and has been downloaded over a million times. After seven years and 213 episodes, the podcast came to an end in January of 2017.

Past guests include "Weird Al" Yankovic, Patton Oswalt, Drew Carey, Kevin Pollak, Rachel Dratch, Danny Pudi, Simon Helberg, Jonathan Silverman, Thomas Lennon, Paul F. Tompkins, John DiMaggio, Reginald VelJohnson, Tony Hale, Bob Odenkirk, Matthew Lillard, Alan Ruck, Curtis Armstrong, Dave Coulier, Stephen Tobolowsky, Jodi Sweetin, Eddie Deezen, Doug Benson, Ken Marino, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Rob Paulsen, Judy Greer, John Hodgman, Mindy Cohn, Leonard Maltin, Aimee Mann, Laraine Newman, Linda Cardellini, Barry Bostwick, Pamela Adlon, Jim Rash, Chris Hardwick, Joe Dante, Felicia Day, Dan Harmon, Retta, Jim O'Heir, Meredith Salenger, Robyn Lively, Samm Levine, MST3K's Mike, Kevin, Bill, Frank and J.
